Freshman Ashley Novak and senior Brooke Peters discuss their races at Lake Park's Harvey Braus Invitational Saturday, Sept. 8.
Novak was a team-best 17th in the junior varsity girls race (20:21.82 for 3.0 miles) to earn a top-30 ribbon.
Peters was 60th in the open girls race (14:22.02 for 2.0 miles) as the Trojans' No. 2 race finisher behind ribbon winner Hailey Grubich (23rd, 13:41.05).
